With 33 years of experience, Dr. Thabet is a dynamic neurosurgery expert who exercises compassion and evidence-based techniques to deliver the highest level of care. As a patient advocate, he makes use of his medical knowledge and expertise to ensure excellent outcomes. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (M.R.C.P.S.G.) and holds European diplomas in spinal surgery and head trauma. Prior to joining SSMC, he served as a neurosurgery specialist at Mafraq Hospital, where he completed his residency. He also trained at the Sebei Neurosurgical Center in Libya.
