Dr. Aklé is a licensed clinical psychologist with 10 years of experience in the field. She practices psychoanalysis and has a particular interest in research combining analytical theories and social discourses and phenomena. She completed her PhD in Psychopathology and Psychoanalysis in September 2020 from the University of Paris, France, on Honour Killing in Lebanon.
Dr. Aklé has undertaken research projects in psychoanalysis, language, social discourses, psychology and diabetes in children and other endocrine conditions, compassion fatigue and Covid-19. She has expertise in diagnosing and treating multiple psychopathology presentations in children, adolescents and adults and has extensive experience treating conditions affecting adults.
Dr. Aklé’s clinical focus includes psychopathology such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and other psychological problems due to acute and chronic medical conditions.
