Responsible for managing both strategic and operational aspects of managing employee relations for a defined group of employees. This includes supporting employees for interpretation of policies and procedures, addressing queries on leave, performance management, grievance handling, pay, benefits and rewards etc. It also involves liaising with department heads to address employee concerns.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Communicating employee related policies, procedures, programs and laws and Addressing standard employee queries as per current policies and procedures, by phone or email, related to leave, performance management, grievances, change management, pay and rewards etc.
Identifying employee issues, communicating with concerned departments regarding those issues; scheduling meetings with employees and their Managers regarding employee issues and acting as an arbiter between the employee and people manager wherever necessary
Developing solutions within policies and procedures; ensuring that grievance handling and disciplinary proceedings are carried out in line with company policy and national legislation; communicating solutions to the employees
Updating employee database on a timely basis using existing system and approving changes as per guidelines and ensuring accuracy of employee database
Running analysis on the data to procedure reports for the Senior Officer as requested
Determining and recommending employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
Preparing and ensuring the preparation of employee’s action forms and documentation related to monthly transactions including new hires, promotion, transfer, salary adjustment, allowances according to facility’s compensation policies and practices
Notifying and following up on outstanding annual performance appraisal and probationary appraisal and when required especially related to increases in salary and/or benefits
Assisting in any other relevant task that may be assigned
Responding to verbal and written employees enquiries in a timely manner
Demonstrating technical expertise in identifying course of action for employee issues raised including – grievances address, performance management, leave, pay and reward related policies and change management
Participating in cross-functional teams and committees as appropriate
EducationRequirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources/Business Administration or any relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with Healthcare/Medical staffing experience would be highly desirable
