Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Producing a variety of ad hoc reports as and when required by management covering areas such as budget information, data comparison and benchmarking information to assist in management decision-making
  • Mapping of new feeder keys to existing or new products, mapping new products to cost departments and cost pools, and maintaining and updating the inpatient and outpatient mapping file
  • Reviewing and fixing audit checks, data quality checks and costing outputs
  • Update RVUs for the departments on regular basis
  • Provide overhead allocation basis to Clinical Costing Manager and SSMC clinical analyst for uploading in CostPro system
  • Monthly closing of the costing period in the costing system
  • Monthly Reconciliation of costing data with GL balance
  • Responsible for mapping new cost centers to new or existing cost department; and mapping accounts to a cost type
  • Responsible for allocating overheads to the relevant direct cost departments using the correct allocation bases and ensuring the data to support overhead allocation
  • Provide costing reports to senior leadership from costing system
  • Answering department/section queries and concerns at the facility regarding compliance and regulations to be followed for budgets
  • Maintaining collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeps abreast of significant economic, social and technical trends, and regulatory guidelines, which may influence assigned services
  • Planning and supervising the day to day activities of the department/section; streamlining processes wherever possible
  • Participating in all team efforts as required
  • Collaborating with other members of the team to carry out work smoothly
   Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or relevant field
  Required: 2-4 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role Desired: Experience in a large healthcare facility
