Roles and Responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing, commenting on and negotiating contracts for and on behalf of SSMC, including, but not limited to, all supply-chain related agreements, such as IT, supplies, services and consultancy agreements with both local and multinational contractors (and liaising with external counsel in relation thereto)
Preparing, formulating and reviewing memoranda regarding contractual issues and interpretation
Identifying, assessing and managing legal risks related to corporate and commercial activities
Advise SSMC on corporate and commercial issues
Advise SSMC on relevant laws and regulations
Provide legal opinion and consultancy as and when requested
Participate in cross-functional teams and committees as and when requested by the Legal Director
Draft policies and participate in the establishment of legal procedures at SSMC under the guidance of the Legal Director
Education and Experience Requirements:Required:
Law degree (LL.B., JD, Master or equivalent) from a reputable Law School
5+ years PQE in a top-tier law firm
Bar Exam
Desired:
In-house experience
UAE and/or healthcare experience
Postgraduate degree in Law
