With over three decades of extensive surgical experience, Dr. Eltayeb excels in a range of orthopedic and trauma surgery processes, including upper limb trauma, shoulder, wrist and elbow arthroplasty and upper limb reconstructive surgery. He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons, UK, and the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. Furthermore, he possesses memberships in numerous distinguished medical bodies, including the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS), the British Medical Association (BMA) and the Sudanese Orthopedic Surgeons Association (SOSA).

Prior to working at SSMC, he held positions at Mediclinic, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) and Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in the UK.
