SSMC is located in Al Mafraq area in Abu Dhabi - Ghweifat International Highway - Next to Mafraq Hospital and Fatima College of Health Sciences. SSMC is strategically located to enable convenience to the main highway connecting the Western and Eastern Regions of the Emirates.
The working hours for the SSMC Outpatient Clinics are from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 5pm on Friday.
We have extended our working hours from 5pm to 8:30pm on Sunday and Tuesday for the following specialties and subspecialties: Specialties: General Medicine, General Pediatrics, General Obstetrics & Gynecology and General Surgery. Subspecialties: ENT, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Nephrology and Cardiology.

Morning: 10:00am to 2:00pm
Evening: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Critical Care Visitation Hours
Morning: 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Evening: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
These visitation hours apply every day of the week.
Kindly note that all visitors below the age of 12 are not permitted to enter. Each patient is permitted to have only two visitors, and they are required to wear a mask at all times.
Additionally, COVID-19 patients are not permitted to have visitors at any time. Vaccinated visitors must present a negative PCR test result within a 14-day period. Unvaccinated visitors must present a negative PCR test result within a 7-day period.
SSMC has multiple cafeterias catering to a wide range of food options for every dietary need. Food and drinks from external vendors are not permitted and, vendors will not be allowed on-site.

Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) is a two-day, interactive course, which includes mandatory, pre-course e-learning. It covers the practical skills and knowledge that health care professionals need to effectively care for surgical patients, including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so.
