With over a decade of experience in urologic oncology and endourology, Dr. Ahmad is UK trained and specialises in performing robotic, laparoscopic, and complex open urological procedures.

Dr. Ahmad has made significant contributions to the field of robotic surgery. He pioneered the robotic cystectomy service in Scotland and led a team to perform the first robotic-assisted surgery at SSMC in 2020. His expertise in robotic surgery allows him to provide minimally invasive treatment options for his patients.

Dr. Ahmad is heavily involved in healthcare research, particularly in the field of prostate cancer. He has received multiple prestigious international awards and recognitions for his publications, which include numerous research articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
