Dr. Metwalli has also contributed significantly to neonatal care, serving as a specialist in neonatology at various institutions, including Toyor Al-Jana Neonatal Centre in Kuwait and Maternity and Children Hospital in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Metwalli holds licenses from the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi, and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) in Dubai, He is also a specialist in paediatrics in Egypt. His educational background includes a Master of Science in Paediatrics (M.Sc.), a Diploma of Science in Paediatrics, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.Ch.) from Al-Azhar University, Egypt. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Dr. Metwalli’s PICU team at SSMC received the Best Team award in 2021.
