Dr. Al Ramsi has over nine years of progressive clinical experience in Abu Dhabi, including key roles at Corniche Hospital and NMC Royal Women’s Hospital before joining SSMC. She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the United Arab Emirates University and is a certified specialist by the Arab Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Driven by a commitment to women’s health, surgical excellence and academic advancement, Dr. Al Ramsi has pursued extensive postgraduate training both regionally and internationally. She holds a Diploma in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction from the University of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (F.MAS) from the World Laparoscopy Training Institute, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Health Education from the University of Manchester, UK.
She has further expanded her expertise with advanced diplomas in OB/GYN Ultrasound, Cosmetic Gynaecology and Aesthetic Gynaecology, accredited by the American Association of Continuing Medical Education. Notably, she is the first Emirati physician certified in the Vagilangelo technique by NYCGYNO International, positioning her at the forefront of aesthetic gynaecology in the region.
Her certifications also include Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS & ACLS), Basic Surgical Skills (Royal College of Surgeons), CTG interpretation, PROMPT obstetric emergency training, and ROBuST simulation-based operative birth training.
In parallel with her clinical practice, Dr. Al Ramsi is passionate about medical education and academic mentorship. As a former Chief Resident at Corniche Hospital, she was actively involved in organising teaching programmes, simulation workshops and departmental audits, and served on both the Graduate Medical Education and Research Committees. She continues to contribute to education at SSMC through structured clinical teaching, trainee supervision and research mentorship.
Her academic work includes peer-reviewed publications and oral presentations at major international conferences such as FIGO, RCOG, ICS and AMEE, with research interests in urogynaecology, sexual medicine and maternal health.
Dr. Al Ramsi’s clinical interests include high-risk pregnancies, pelvic floor reconstruction, recurrent pregnancy loss, female sexual dysfunction, menstrual disorders, hysteroscopy, and personalised contraception and postmenopausal care. Fluent in Arabic and English, she is recognised for her holistic approach to patient care and her dedication to advancing women’s health and medical education in the UAE.
