Dr. Dastoor has more than 27 years of clinical experience in nephrology and internal medicine. Since joining SEHA Kidney Care in 2020, he has contributed to the development of outpatient nephrology clinics and the expansion of nephrology services.

He played a key role in developing nephrology services at Al Rahba Hospital and Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he served as Head of Nephrology Services. His work included establishing both inpatient and outpatient nephrology programmes and advancing specialised kidney care services.

Dr. Dastoor completed his medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine and subsequently completed his residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York, followed by a nephrology fellowship at New York Hospital–Cornell Medical Center in New York. He is board-certified in nephrology and internal medicine and has also obtained specialist certification in the United Kingdom.

His clinical interests include complex glomerular diseases such as lupus nephritis, IgA nephropathy, and nephrotic syndromes, as well as cystic kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, and complex electrolyte disorders.
