Dr. Al Shamsi has more than 15 years of clinical experience in nephrology and internal medicine. She previously worked at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi and in the Rheumatology Department at Dubai Hospital.

Dr. Al Shamsi obtained her M.B.B.S. from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at United Arab Emirates University. She later completed a Master’s degree in Kidney Transplantation from the University of Liverpool. She is board-certified by several professional bodies, including the Royal College of Physicians, the Arab Board of Internal Medicine, and the Arab Board of Nephrology.

Her clinical interests include obstetric nephrology and the management of kidney disease in women before, during, and after pregnancy. At SEHA Kidney Care, she also manages patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, dialysis therapies, and other complex nephrology conditions.
