The Division of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition provides comprehensive care for children with gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders. Gastrointestinal and nutritional issues are among the most common reasons children are seen by a doctor, and many require specialised diagnostic procedures and treatments.
At Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), our team manages all disorders related to the gastrointestinal tract and liver, providing state-of-the-art investigations and treatments. The division is supported by a dedicated paediatric dietitian to address dietary concerns and ensure optimal growth and development.
Our division is led by experienced consultants specialising in paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. We take a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, collaborating with dietitians, nurses, clinical pharmacists, and other specialists as needed. By leveraging SSMC’s advanced technological capabilities, we deliver the highest standard of paediatric gastroenterology care.
