As a consultant nephrologist, he is affiliated with prestigious organisations such as the American Society of Nephrology (USA) and the Emirates Medical Association, Nephrology and Transplantation (UAE). Dr Saleh holds a licence from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology. His professional journey of 27 years includes leadership roles at SKMC, where he founded the education institute, chaired the renal programme and the Department of Medicine, and served as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Dr Saleh completed his fellowship in Nephrology at Yale University, USA, and his residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, USA. He earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Honours Biology from the University of Illinois and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
