Dr. Kruse completed fellowships in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Disaster Medicine, specializing in regionalized EMS systems and interfacility transport.  He is a member of numerous distinguished medical organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM). Dr. Kruse is also licensed by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). Prior to working at SSMC, he completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of California’s Davis Medical Center and a fellowship at the Brooke Army Medical Center in the USA.
