Dr. Alsayari’s journey to becoming a leading trauma surgeon began with a strong academic foundation. He earned his medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University in India in 2004. Recognising the importance of global expertise, he pursued further qualifications, obtaining membership in the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow.

Dr. Alsayari’s dedication to his craft led him to South Africa, where he undertook rigorous surgical training at Cape Town University. His commitment to excellence extended beyond general surgery, as he specialised in trauma and surgical critical care. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first trauma surgeon to graduate from the University of Cape Town, solidifying his position as a pioneer in the field.

Prior to joining SSMC, Dr. Alsayari honed his skills as a general surgery and trauma consultant at Mafraq Hospital. His early career also included an internship at the UAE Ministry of Health, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems.
