Dr. Dalia Elshourbagy, Ph.D., M.B.C.H.B., MS.c., is a consultant medical oncologist in the internal medicine department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

With a dual background in medical oncology and radiation oncology, Dr. Elshourbagy is an expert in managing adult solid tumors. Since 2009, she has been an integral part of the Oncology Department at Dubai Health Authority, where she continues to make significant contributions to the field. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of oncology care in the region, spearheading innovative approaches to patient management and treatment.   Dr. Elshourbagy’s expertise extends beyond clinical practice, as evidenced by her active involvement in numerous professional organizations and societies. As a member of esteemed bodies such as the Emirates Oncology Society (EOS), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), she remains at the forefront of cutting-edge advancements in oncological research and treatment modalities.   In recognition of her exemplary contributions to the field, Dr. Elshourbagy has received several accolades, including the prestigious ESMO Women for Oncology Award in 2019.
