Possessing over two decades of extensive experience in the domains of hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology, Dr.Mirza is a renowned expert and educator. A member of numerous distinguished societies, he currently serves on the editorial board of the Canadian Journal of Physician Leaders. Having trained and practiced across North America, Pakistan and the UAE, he is licensed by the American Board of Pathology (ABPath), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the State Medical Board of Ohio and the UAE Department of Health (DoH).

Outside of his clinical duties, Dr. Mirza is heavily involved in academic and research endeavors, serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Calgary and as an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. He has published several articles in esteemed journals and authored book chapters.
