Dr Karema is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with more than 25 years of clinical experience in women’s health, obstetrics, and foetal medicine. She has held senior roles at leading medical institutions in the UAE, where she managed a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions with a particular focus on high risk pregnancies and maternal foetal medicine.

Her expertise includes the management of complex pregnancies and advanced foetal assessments. She performs first and second trimester screening for chromosomal and structural abnormalities, foetal growth monitoring, and Doppler studies. Dr Karema is also experienced in invasive diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), as well as providing genetic counselling and monitoring foetal anomalies. In addition, she manages a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including postpartum care, family planning, contraceptive counselling, and advanced obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound imaging.
