With over 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Venkatesh has built a distinguished career in the field of paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology. He graduated from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli, India, and completed his postgraduate degree in paediatrics (MD) from Mysore Medical College, India.

He subsequently moved to the United Kingdom, where he trained in paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, and served as a Consultant at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool. There, he also held the positions of Chief of the Paediatric Gastroenterology Department, Lead for Endoscopy and Nutrition, and Honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool. Dr. Venkatesh has authored several first-author papers and book chapters and has presented his research at national and international conferences.
