Dr. Khair brings 17 years of extensive experience in anaesthesia, with specialised expertise spanning general anaesthesia, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics and general surgery. Her career began at Khartoum Teaching Hospital, one of Sudan’s busiest healthcare facilities. Following this, Dr. Khair worked for two years at the Ahmed Gasim Cardiac and Renal Transplant Centre in Khartoum, Sudan, providing anaesthesia for complex procedures including valve replacements and renal transplants. In 2013, Dr. Khair relocated to the UAE and joined Hatta Hospital, where she performed a broad range of anaesthetic procedures. She furthered her expertise at Tawam Hospital, managing anaesthesia for a diverse array of specialisations including oncology, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology and general surgery. With a particular focus on obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr. Khair has been an integral part of the PROMT team, delivering anaesthetic emergency training. She is highly skilled in handling critically ill patients and resuscitation, and is passionate about education and simulation, contributing to residency academic programmes at Tawam Hospital, UAE.
