Dr. Hussain has 26 years of experience practicing orthopaedic surgery, having completed further surgical training in Dundee, UK, as well as a fellowship in adult reconstruction and young adult hip pathology at Southern General Hospital in Glasgow. As a traveling fellow, he gained extensive exposure to tertiary institutions across the United Kingdom and Europe.
Dr. Hussain has played a key role in managing complex hip conditions in young adults while working at the National Referral Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, as well as actively contributing to the regional management of periprosthetic fractures.
He is adept at conducting consultations for patients experiencing hip pain and devising treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
Additionally, he has extensive experience in treating various conditions that can affect the hip joint, including arthritis, bursitis, hip dysplasia, AVN (loss of blood supply), sports-related injuries and painful hip joint replacements.
His expertise includes primary and revision hip replacements, along with hip arthroscopies and Ganz osteotomies. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Hussain is actively involved in education, making a significant contribution to the advancement of his profession.
