Dr. Byng possesses almost two decades of extensive experience within the realm of emergency medicine, having worked in the UK prior to her practice in the Middle East. She has been working in Al Mafraq Hospital since 2014 and has continued her position at SSMC. Dr. Byng is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.) and a fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (F.R.C.E.M.). Furthermore, she is the medical lead for Disaster Medicine at SSMC and is also a core faculty member in the training of emergency medicine residents. Dr. Byng is passionate about patient safety, preventative approaches in medicine, and stress management.
