Dr. Yasser Butt, M.D., M.B.B.S., E.D.R.A., is a consultant physician anaesthesiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Possessing over two decades of experience, Dr. Butt has advanced training in obstetric anaesthesia, including abnormal placentation cases and EXIT procedures, regional anaesthesia and anaesthesia for oncology surgery. Prior to working at SSMC, he was a consultant anaesthesiologist at Croydon University Hospital in the UK and head of obstetric anaesthesia at King Fahad Medical City, KSA. Furthermore, Dr. Butt held the position of Chairman of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at King Fahad Medical City. He is a member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (MRCA) and a fellow of the Faculty of Anaesthetists of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FFARCSI). Dr. Butt is licensed by the General Medical Council (GMC), UK, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHFS) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH).
