Tamheed Programme (Administrative Internship):
Programme length (1-3 months)
Tamheed Programmes is designed to support the range and versatility of non-clinical educational and workforce opportunities at the SSMC campus. Programmes are primarily internship-based experiences in administration. Though not directly involved in patient care, each learner will contribute to SSMC’s mission.
Students in the programme will participate in the following ways:- Engage in a structured educational experience under the leadership of an appointed programme director and assigned preceptor(s)
- Learn critical skills relevant to their course of study according to established programme goals and objectives
- Interact with SSMC faculty and staff
- Attend virtual and in-person meetings, lectures and experiences
- Tamheed Programmes provides centralised oversight and support of these educational programmes on the SSMC campus
Nafis
Staff Development oversaw the implementation of the Nafis apprentice programme. This is a federal programme to increase the competitiveness of Emirati human resources and empower them to occupy jobs in the private sector. The cooperation between SSMC and Nafis will provide Emirati nationals with on-the-job training and development opportunities. The program aims to increase their employability and help them secure better job opportunities in the private sector by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge.
