Dr. Moussab Damlaj, M.D., is an adult haematology consultant at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi. Certified by the American and Canadian Board in Haematology and Internal Medicine, he has over 14 years of experience.

After completing his internal medicine residency at Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Canada where he also served as a chief medical resident, he pursued fellowship training in Haematology at the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal, Canada. This was followed by a Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA. He is an adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at Khalifa University. His expertise includes leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, bone marrow transplantation, and hemoglobinopathies. Dr. Moussab Damlaj is a distinguished professional who contributes significantly to the field of haematology. Serving as a member of the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research, he actively participates in the Acute Leukemia Working Committee and the Graft vs. Host Disease Working Committee. Dr. Damlaj is also a valued member of the American Society of Hematology Guideline Panel, specifically focusing on Relapsed Refractory Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in Adolescents and Young Adults. His expertise extends to both: haematology and internal medicine, holding Fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in both disciplines.
