After completing his internal medicine residency at Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Canada where he also served as a chief medical resident, he pursued fellowship training in Hematology at the McGill University Health Center in Montreal, Canada. This was followed by a Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship at Mayo Clinic Rochester, USA. He is an adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine at Khalifa University. His expertise includes leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, bone marrow transplantation, and hemoglobinopathies. Dr. Moussab Damlaj is a distinguished professional who contributes significantly to the field of hematology. Serving as a member of the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research, he actively participates in the Acute Leukemia Working Committee and the Graft vs. Host Disease Working Committee. Dr. Damlaj is also a valued member of the American Society of Hematology Guideline Panel, specifically focusing on Relapsed Refractory Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in Adolescents and Young Adults.
