Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), in collaboration with esteemed experts in the field of transfusion medicine, is pleased to announce the 2nd Masterclass on Immunohaematology: Bridging Theory to Practice, scheduled for 16-17 January 2025, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
This two-day workshop is designed to deepen the understanding and enhance the practical skills of medical technologists and doctors working in blood bank practices, with a special focus on immunohaematology.
Participants will explore complex topics such as blood grouping discrepancies, antibody screening and identification, and the challenges of managing Direct Antiglobulin Test (DAT) positive cases, particularly in autoimmune haemolytic anaemia (AIHA).
The workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from renowned experts through a combination of theoretical sessions and hands-on practical training, designed to address the most critical immunological challenges faced in blood bank laboratories.
With only 15 spots available, the workshop aims to ensure an interactive, personalised experience for each participant
This workshop is open to all medical technologists and doctors actively engaged in blood bank practices.
