Join us for The Australian and New Zealand Burns Association’s (ANZBA) 1 day Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB) course on Saturday June 21st or Sunday June 22nd 2025, at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. The EMSB course equips healthcare professionals with essential skills in the emergency management of burn patients.

The aim of the course is to provide participants with sufficient information regarding the presentation, diagnosis and initial management of the patient with severe burn injuries, to enable them to deal competently with this urgent and often life-threatening problem. The course supplements existing clinical knowledge in trauma management with the specific aspects and challenges associated with a burn injury. This course aims to equip participants with the skills to recognise, assess, stabilise, and transfer a severely burnt patient. Key clinical techniques are demonstrated, and essential topics are explored in greater depth through group discussions. Realistic case simulations are then used to reinforce and integrate the course content.

The course will be accredited with Abu Dhabi Department of Health CME hours. Please note numbers are limited to a maximum of 24 participants for each course / day. So early booking is essential.
