In collaboration with: SSMC and Emirates MSK Radiology Club and Radiological Society of
Emirates.
Building on the success of the inaugural event, this year’s conference will deliver
state-of-the-art musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging education with a strong focus on case-based learning,
interactive DICOM workshops, and hands-on diagnostic ultrasound and US-guided intervention.
Internationally acclaimed MSK radiology experts will join an exceptional regional faculty to
share practical insights, advanced imaging strategies, and intervention pearls.

Day 1: Upper Limb Imaging Masterclass
- Pearls & pitfalls in shoulder, elbow, hand & wrist MRI
- Entrapment neuropathies and post-operative imaging
- DICOM-based case reviews and interactive panels with radiologists, orthopedic surgeons,
rheumatologists, and rehab specialists
Day 2: Hands-On MSK Ultrasound & Interventions
- Live scanning demos: shoulder, elbow, wrist & hand
- Hands-on stations with expert supervision
- MSK interventions: from guided injections to biologics and procedural setup
Learning Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
- Master basic to intermediate MRI interpretation of upper limb pathologies and post-operative
changes.
- Identify entrapment neuropathies and complex sports-related injuries with confidence.
- Integrate imaging findings into multi-disciplinary decision-making.
- Perform basic and advanced upper limb MSK ultrasound safely and effectively.
- Learn the principles of efficient MSK interventional services in clinical practice.

- Limited slots for the Sunday hands-on ultrasound session will be available on a first-come,
first-served basis.
International Speakers: 4 (to be discussed by the organizing committee) – 1 from US, 2 from
the UK (if budget permits), 2 from India, and 1 from Kuwait.

Ultrasound Workshop Requirements (Sunday)
- 8-10 ultrasound machines (approx. 6-8 delegates per station).
- Ultrasound manikins from the Simulation Lab for interventional practice sessions.
- We will attempt to position the ultrasound machines along the periphery of the auditorium.
- Kindly tentatively reserve the Simulation Center breakout rooms as well, in case additional space is
required.
