Nasal endoscopy is a diagnostic procedure often utilized by otolaryngologists to examine the nasal and sinus passages.

Our team of North American and European Board Certified expert otolaryngologists perform diagnostic nasal endoscopy to identify conditions such as nasal congestion, nasal blockage, nasal tumors, nasal polyps, loss of sense of smell, and potentially cancerous growths within the sinuses.

How is the procedure performed?

Diagnostic nasal endoscopy is performed in the clinic. An endoscope, a thin, flexible tube with a tiny camera, and a light is inserted into one side of the nose, allowing the physician to view different parts of the nasal cavity and sinuses. This process may be repeated on the other side of the nose to gather more information.

The endoscopy produces images of the inside of the nose and nasal and sinus passages, allowing the doctor to reach an accurate diagnosis and determine the suitable course of treatment for the patient.
