A pacemaker is a small electronic device often implanted in the chest to regulate slow electrical impulses of the heart and control the heartbeat.

Our team of American and UK trained cardiologists utilize pacemaker technology for patients with heart blocks, arrhythmia, and bradycardia.

How is the procedure performed?

A pacemaker implantation procedure is performed using one or more flexible, insulated wires. These wires are inserted into a major vein under or near the patient’s collarbone and are guided to the heart with the help of X-ray images. Once appropriately positioned, the pacemaker is programmed to adjust to the patient’s needs.

The patient may be required to stay in the hospital for a day after having a pacemaker implanted.
