Dr Asghar has more than 12 years of clinical experience in anaesthesia, critical care and perioperative medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, where she graduated with distinction. She completed her postgraduate training at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, and attained the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Anaesthesiology. She began her medical career at Mayo Hospital, the largest public-sector tertiary care hospital in Pakistan, where she completed her internship and residency training. She subsequently held senior clinical roles at National Hospital and Medical Centre and Mukhtiar Munir Hospital, Pakistan, managing complex surgical and critical care cases. Her clinical practice includes general and regional anaesthesia, advanced airway management and perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties.
