With more than two decades of experience in the surgical treatment of burns, Dr. Khan received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from Khyber Medical University, Pakistan. Prior to his position as interim chair, he served as a consultant and previous chair of the Department of Plastic Surgery at SSMC. Furthermore, he also worked as a consultant plastic surgeon at Mafraq Hospital. He is a member of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the Emirates Society of Plastic Surgery (ESPS), and the European Association of Specialists. Dr. Khan is certified by the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).
