Dr. Sharaf graduated from Damascus University and obtained the Syrian board certification in neurology. He worked as a neurology specialist at the International Medical Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before pursuing further training in Germany. He then achieved the German board certification for neurology after completing a five-year program. During this period, he focused on vascular neurology and neurological intensive care. In Germany, Dr. Sharaf served as a consultant, heading the stroke team at Nordhausen Hospital and overseeing the general neurology ward at the military tertiary hospital in Koblenz. Then he joined Emirates Hospital and Dr. Soliman Al Habib in the UAE before becoming part of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). His direct journey reflects a commitment to continuous learning and expertise in neurology, benefiting both his career and patient care.
