With seven years of experience, Dr. Alteneiji’s proficiency extends across general internal medicine, general neurology, and acute ischemic stroke. He is a member of the neurology team and stroke unit team at SSMC. Dr. Alteneiji holds licenses from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Arab Board for Health Specialization (ABHS) in Internal Medicine. Dr. Alteneiji’s professional journey includes roles as a general practitioner in neurology and hematology/oncology at SSMC. He completed his residency in the Internal Medicine Department at Mafraq Hospital and an internship at Al Ain Hospital, both in the UAE. Dr. Omar Alteneiji has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from the United Arab Emirates University.
