Dr. Arumugam has a keen interest in hand surgery, lower limb reconstruction and burns. He graduated from Kilpauk Medical College in India with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and has been practicing medicine for a total of 12 years.

In addition to his MBBS degree, Dr. Arumugam pursued his Master’s degree in General Surgery at Stanley Medical College, where he achieved three gold medals for his excellence. He then completed Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (MCh) training at the VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital and gained further specialty training in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery at the world-renowned Ganga Hospital.

Furthermore, Dr. Arumugam is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH) and the National Academy of Burns India (NABI).
