He performed the SSMC’s first navigation and artificial intelligence-assisted robotic reverse shoulder replacement.

Dr. Trehan’s exceptional qualifications include double fellowships and prestigious trauma fellowships in Germany and Austria, underscoring his commitment to excellence. Dr. Trehan is a prolific researcher with a portfolio of publications and ongoing research projects. As co-chair of the IRB committee, he further exemplifies his dedication to ethical and evidence-based medical practice. An ardent educator, he holds adjunct positions as an associate professor at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi and Gulf Medical University in Ajman. His influence extends to the Royal College of Surgeons of England, where he serves as an examiner, hosting the first-ever MRCS exam in Abu Dhabi at SSMC.
