With more than 17 years of experience in the field of Rheumatology, Dr. Aneja has developed into an experienced specialist physician. Her interest lies in dealing with rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Dr. Aneja is also adept in ankylosing spondylitis, connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis and psoriatic arthritis. Throughout her career, she has worked in renowned hospitals in India, the UK, Oman, and the UAE.
Dr. Aneja possesses a strong background in academia. She served as the Assistant Editor of the Indian Journal of Rheumatology for 6 years and has published over 20 research papers concerning Rheumatology and other related fields. Dr. Aneja is an astute educator, having served as an honorary senior lecturer at the Oman Medical College, Sohar, Oman. She is an active member of the scientific committee behind the Advanced Academic Rheumatology Review Course (ADARRC), which is held annually in the UAE.
Dr. Aneja received her MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, then pursued a residency from the University College of Medical Sciences in India, a fellowship in rheumatology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and then a fellowship in rheumatology from Royal National hospital for rheumatic diseases, Bath, UK.
