Dr. Khan is an Ireland & UK-trained rheumatologist, holding a CCT in Rheumatology and General Medicine. He completed advanced fellowship training in lupus and vasculitis at Central Manchester University Hospital, the European Centre of Excellence for Lupus and Vasculitis.

He currently serves as the Chair of the Rheumatology Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) and is the Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship.

Alongside his clinical leadership, Dr. Khan is actively engaged in academia as a Clinical Adjunct Associate Professor at Khalifa University and Gulf Medical University. He has also previously served as a lecturer and tutor at the University of Limerick and Manchester University Medical School.
