Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is located in the Al Mafraq area of Abu Dhabi – Ghweifat International Highway, next to Fatima College of Health Sciences. Its strategic location facilitates convenient access to the main highway connecting the Western and Eastern regions of the UAE.

The operating hours for the SSMC Outpatient Clinics are from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. from Monday to Thursday ,and 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday.

General Visitation Hours
Morning: 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Evening: 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Morning: 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Evening: 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
These visitation hours apply every day of the week. In intensive care units, a maximum of two visitors per patient is allowed at one time. In inpatient wards, up to four visitors per day are allowed at one time. All visitors are required to always wear a mask.

There are two pharmacies at SSMC, one on the ground floor of Tower B, Hospital Building operating 24/7 and the second is on the first floor of the Clinics Building operating from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
