Scope of the Department

The Department of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology provides integrated state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the joints, connective tissue and the immune system, including more than 100 types of arthritis and the spectrum of autoimmune skin diseases. The uniqueness of the department rests on its ability to offer an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to the care and management of complicated and difficult-to-treat rheumatologic conditions.

The Rheumatology Fellowship program was established in July 2019 and provides a variety of educational activities that support fellows’ growth and leverage competencies in preparation for independent practice.
