In collaboration with the UAE Paediatric Surgery Society, the International Society for Hypospadias and DSD, and SSMC’s Paediatric Surgery Department, we are honoured to welcome you to the 4th SSMC Annual Symposium on Recent Advances in Paediatric Surgery, taking place on Sunday, 27 April 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at SSMC, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This hybrid CME-accredited event offers free registration with unlimited virtual attendance and will feature world-renowned experts in paediatric surgical care. Attendees will gain updates on managing simple and complex paediatric surgical conditions and an in-depth review of the latest advancements in the field.

The opening session, led by the UAE Paediatric Surgery Society, will explore the latest approaches to managing complex paediatric surgical conditions. The second session will highlight cutting-edge innovations and advancements in paediatric surgical care, featuring world-renowned experts discussing recent breakthroughs in the field.

This year’s theme, “Disorders of Sex Differentiation (DSD),” will showcase state-of-the-art lectures from leading global experts. Topics will include:

  • Gender assignment guidelines (medical and religious perspectives)
  • Psychological support for patients and families
  • Regional & International approaches to DSD management
  • Challenges in managing mosaicism and Similar Conditions And much more
