On behalf of the organising committees, it is our honour to invite you to the 4th SSMC Annual Symposium on Recent Advances in Paediatric Surgery, taking place on Sunday, 13 April 2025, at SSMC, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This hybrid, continuing medical education (CME) accredited event is open to all, with free registration available to an unlimited number of virtual attendees.
The symposium will feature world-renowned experts in paediatric surgical care, providing the latest updates on the management of both simple and complex paediatric surgical conditions, along with a comprehensive review of recent advancements in the field. Highlights include state-of-the-art lectures covering complex case discussions, advancements in gastrointestinal surgery, innovations in minimally invasive thoracic and abdominal surgery, updates on paediatric robotic surgery, urological surgery, and much more.
Additionally, the event features a three-hour master class on Disorders of Sex In addition, the event will feature a three-hour masterclass focused on disorders of sex development and hypospadiology, alongside a parallel session tailored for nurses and allied health professionals. This session will include a masterclass on stoma care, central line management, urinary catheter care, and the care of tracheostomies and nasogastric tubes.
