Dr. Amira Abdallah is an experienced chief of haematology section and consultant hematopathologist with over 35 years of track record of excellence in laboratory management and haematopathology. She completed her M.B.B.Ch., M.Sc. and doctorate degree of Clinical & Chemical Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt.

Dr. Abdalla is recognised for her proven expertise in clinical operations, strategic planning and quality management. Furthermore, she is skilled in bone marrow reporting, flow cytometry, coagulation, haemoglobin analysis and platelet aggregation. She is known for her fostering collaboration, promoting team-based patient care and an unwavering commitment to quality assurance.

Dr. Abdalla is a member of several distinguished medical organisations, including the American Society of Haematology, European Society of Haematology, the Egyptian Society of Haematology and Medical Association. Prior to working at SSMC, she served as the acting chair of the Pathology and Medical Laboratory Department at Mafraq Hospital, UAE. She has numerous publications in the field of haematopathology and blood diseases.
