With nine years of experience in paediatrics and intensive care, including approximately five years focused exclusively on paediatric intensive care, Dr. Sankar’s clinical expertise spans the assessment and management of critically ill children with complex medical, surgical and cardiac conditions. Dr. Sankar completed advanced fellowship training in paediatric critical care at Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, India. His areas of expertise include airway management, mechanical ventilation, vascular access, intercostal drainage, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and continuous renal replacement therapy. He has particular clinical interests in difficult airway management, paediatric transport and respiratory critical care. He is also actively involved in teaching and training postgraduate students, paediatric critical care fellows, critical care therapists and nurses.
