Dr. Christine El Yahchouchi, MD, is a Consultant in the Anesthesia and Pain Management Department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Following a residency in anesthesiology at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Dr. El Yahchouchi completed her fellowship training in pain medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Ohio, USA. She has extensive experience in performing interventional pain procedures including spine and musculoskeletal interventions, radiofrequency ablation, and neuromodulation. Dr. El Yahchouchi participated in pain medicine clinical research at Mayo Clinic Minnesota, culminating in several peer-reviewed papers. In addition, she is active in International Pain Societies as she holds the position of an instructor and vice-chair of education for the international division at Spine Intervention Society (SIS).
