He completed his emergency medicine training at the American University of Beirut and the University of Texas in Houston. With six years of experience, he focuses on cancer patient care in the emergency department, resuscitation, and the implementation of palliative care in the emergency department. Dr. El Majzoub is experienced in oncologic emergency medicine and is a member of prestigious organizations such as the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (I.F.E.M.), the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (A.A.E.M.) in the USA, the Lebanese Academy of Emergency Medicine (L.A.E.M.) in Lebanon, and the Mediterranean Academy of Emergency Medicine (M.A.E.M.). He holds licenses from the Texas Medical Board, USA, the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and the Lebanese Medical Board. In addition to his role as a consultant at SSMC, Dr. El Majzoub has contributed significantly to the field through leadership roles such as associate director for the emergency medicine residency program and chair of the peer review committee for the emergency department at SSMC. Dr. El Majzoub has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, addressing critical topics in emergency medicine, oncology, and palliative care.
