Dr. Maryam Makki, M.B.B.S., is a specialist trauma surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Makki completed her general surgery residency at Dubai Health Authority (DHA) hospitals in 2022, subsequently obtaining a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FIMS). She is a member of the Asia-Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Furthermore, Dr. Makki possesses a general surgery certificate from the Arab Board. Prior to working at SSMC, she was a Specialist in General Surgery at Medcare Hospital Al Safa in Dubai.
