Dr. Asma Deeb, MD, MBBS, is a Consultant Pediatrician and Chair of the Pediatric Endocrinology Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Deeb has 25 years of extensive experience in the field of Pediatric Endocrinology, working in renowned medical facilities across the UAE. Her special interests are the use of advanced technologies to treat diabetes and disorders of sex differentiation. She has authored over 120 publications and research papers and is an Associate Editor of the ISPAD Pediatric Diabetes journal and an Editorial Board Member of the American Diabetes Association journal. In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Deeb is a clinical professor of Pediatrics at Khalifa University and Gulf University, UAE. She was also appointed as the president of The Arab Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes and was the former chair of communication at the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology. Furthermore, she is an executive member of the Global Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes.
